So this year is mine and C's senior year! I am totally excited :) And now I am FINALLY the color guard captain. So far this year 3 people quit in like a matter of a few days. Which sucked! But now it is just me and C. We do foot ball games and parades and what not. (LOL) but this year for our first parade and first football game we are doing the song Poker Face by Lady Gaga. The routine to this song is less than perfect! We always forget the helicopters in it for some reason haha. Every time we tried to perform it tonight at practice it was different lol. But oh well nobody knows out routine except us so it all good lol.
Color guard has been fun so far. We have gotten so much done! I was surprised but glad to know how fast C can learn routines lol. Yesterday we went on a like a mile long march! It was pretty intense we ALMOST DIED because we were hot and it was alot of up hill haha.
Tomorrow is our first game against our rival school! :) We are gonna kick some ho-town butts lol. But we have to wake up super freaking early.. But oh well football games are always da bomb-diggity hahaha! And we get free food because we are in the marching band/color guard. We get burgers, pop, water, and chips or cookies. Its a pretty good free lunch! And the music boosters people at our school are awesome! We love them <3 They go out of there way for us all the time! They are great people and they deserve awards and giant thank you cards! :)
