Orientation

SOO today was orientation for school. Turns out I am going back to school full time instead of homeschool so I had to schedule all my classes again. I got 3 classes with my friend C! I am soo excited! But different lunches :(
Now my schedule is
  1. Advisory
  2. Intro to banking
  3. Symphonic Band
  4. World Lit.
  5. Sign Language
  6. Current World Problems
  7. Digital Communication
I see many hours of home work ahead of me... But I have 2,3,4 periods with C :) Soo hopefully I can finally pass my math class I am surely hoping! Math is soo hard for me. It never makes sense. But C always get it lol.
Band should be pretty interesting this year... Seniors in intermediate band :/ u.g.h LOL.
Signed up for the senior party today. I hope there is no hypnotist this year! But theyll have a ton of food haha. So that part should be ok! Lol. I cannot believe my senior year has finally made it :) I get to walk down the isle this year and get a diploma!!!! (hopefully)

Now comes all the hard decisions of finding a college, choosing a degree I want, finding financial aid, getting a job when I graduate, getting my license. The list goes ON AND ON. I hope I can make it through this year so I can move on from high school.

A cat and mouse adventure!

So today my cat was outside for a good portion of the day. He loves it outside and since the weather is getting bad we let him be out while he can before winter time.. Usually we open the door at night, cal his name, wait a few seconds and he comes running. Tonight was much different!
Yes he came to us but M picked him up and took him to his room.. Then soon yelled MOM dexter has something in his mouth! The cat soon spit it out and a LIVE baby mouse fell from his mouth! :( Not only was it gross, but the poor baby could barely breathe and it was totally terrified.
We picked up the mouse with toilet paper and my mom took it outside. Called our other cat gracie to come get it. And needless to say  that poor mouse is NO LONGER.
Dexter is soo mad we took his "steak dinner" away he constantly keeps intently searching for it lol.

Summer 2010

Our Fire Pit :)

So this summer has been totally insane! I have done sooo much, but it has also been a great summer.
So far this summer I have ordered color guard uniforms :) There blue and gold (of course!) and have capris with them. I cannot wait for color guard to start! Along with doing color guard stuff I went to Spokane for vacation! I had so much fun! However while I was in spokane my oarents got to goto Hawaii :( I wish I could of went lol.
While in spokane we did many things. My cousin J got married, saw Toy Story 3, went to krispy kremes, got my nails done for the first time, bought a new laptop, went to lake cour d' alene (sp?), spent alot of time with my cousin K, and all in all had a great time! It was soo fun! :)
One night we went to my cousin K and her housbands house J and played frisbee with a light up frisbee! It was sooo cool! Haha. But my brother accidentally threw it into the street and it ALMOST got ran over by a car lol.. (plus it was one of the busyist streets in spokane lol. But we were able to save the frisbee :)
One time with K J and R we went to sharis at 12:30 A.M for milkshakes haha. It was great.. You know the saying everything tastes better after mid-night. Well its so true! I had a chocolate peanut butter milkshake it was soo good and soo rich I could barely finish it lol.
After coming home from Spokane I went straight downstairs and grabbed my kitty! He had nearly doubled in size in 12 days I almost cried cause he got so big lol.  But they dont stay little for long, as everybody in my family says.

This summer has been really fun but also really hard. My brother T leaves for Afghanistan sometime soon, and it has really broke our hearts. We will miss him ALOT. But lots of peoples are praying for his well being, safety, and a safe return home for him. It was hard to see him go, but I know he'll be okay!
Before he left him and his friends came over and built us a new firepit! It is soo nice I have sat in front of it for hours at a time lol. It feels great to be able to just go outside on a cool night and just sit in front of the fire and watch it burn! It is sooo relaxing I love it!
Now that summer is coming to an end color guard is starting up! :) I am soo happy. As of right now we have 3 girls in color guard (counting me)... But I am captain so "technically" 2 girls haha but whatever floats your boat! This year our color guard will be doing victoria canada parade, yakima sunfair parade, out town parade, foot ball games, and possibly a christmas show... WHEW... This should be fun, but a ton of work.....! I hope all goes well..
All is well that ends well. (I never really believed this. But I would like too lol.)

Junior Year

Junior year was the most interesting of them all! Soo many things happened its unbelievable!
Some major thing that happened...
  • Continued my job
  • Got threatened
  • Set some boundaries
  • LOTS of drama/friendship battles
  • Grew to more know of the person I want to be
  • Went back to home school
  • BUSINESS WEEK! :)
  • D....!
So I will one by one explain the bullets above just like last time :)

Continuing my job :)
I got the call in september from the new coordinator of the Project Best Program and she said she would like for me to return to work! I was soo happy! :) I got my job again that I love, had more work to do, more money coming in, and the chance to be a tutor again!
I started work in october (i think) and I got to work with D again! We were so happy/glad that we got to work with each other again. We grew really close to each other the past year, and became really great friends! The kids soon were asking if D was my mom lol. We just said "No but she could be my mom/daughter" Lol. It was just great.

Being threatened...
All I am really going to say is ex-boyfriends new girlfriend... Get the picture?? HAHA.

Setting boundaries.
Hmm lets see.. I choose to make the best of a crappy situation. Not let people get to me. And soo much more I will not post on the internet! Lol.

Drama/Friendship battles.
This is a pretty interesting subject for me. Somebody I had been friends with like my entire life didnt wanna be friends anymore. This of course caused a huge hole in my life. And hurt a friendship I had with a different girl. Things are slowly getting back to normal with the 3 of us. But it has been a really bumpy road and has been FAR from easy.. Let me just say that much!
My only hope is that one day things can be normal again. WIth no stress or hurt.

Growing to know more of who I want to be...
This goes along mostly with the setting boundaries thing. But a few things I know I want to be/do are...
  • Have Kids (6)
  • Finish high school
  • Get married
  • Possibly major in psycology or being a nurse
  • Have a nice house out in the country
Second semester Junior Year

I returned to home school, but this time I was back full time homeschooling. (Like I was from pre-k through 5th grade.) This time around with home school worked alot better than my sophmore year try did. I got alot of work done and I was able to concentrate alot better. The high school even let me participate in band every day so that was awesome!
In band I play the flute :) I love it and it totally puts me at ease playing my flute and it gives me a chance to express myself! :)

Business Week! :)
Business week was SO FUN! At first I thought it was going to be totally lame and boring but I actually enjoyed it lol.
During business week we did many things. We did the business week olympics where we had to race to do a bunch of different things. Some things we had to race to do were
  • Tie ties
  • Throw a frisbee thru a hula hoop
  • build a tower with blocks :)
  • Name presidents
  • Bounce a volley ball
  • And draw pictures till people guess what they were
It was so much fun haha. Also in business week we did a mini simulation where we had to sell DVD players. I think we made 4th place...? B was our supervisor for the week. She is awesome! She brought us snack everyday, even pizza! And bought us bouncy balls... Ya Mrs. D didnt not like that haha. But having the bouncy balls made us feel like kids again lol. It was pretty great.
By the end of the week we had to have come up with a new product. Ours was reclcyled housing ;) lol. We made a house out of melted garbage (EEWWW) and It actually turned out looking pretty cool.

D.....!
D is the lady I work with. She is the para-educator for the students. We have done alot together and grown super close.!! I have been able to open up to her alot. She has been a great help!
We have gone shopping, skating, out to her lot, and much more.. Not to mention working together 4 days a week lol. This is the person who my 4th graders thought for a few weeks was my mom lol. It was cute they thought that and also funny! But hey their kids,.. There adorable :) LOL.

Sophmore Year

So sophmore year was alot more eventful then freshmen year.
Hmm let's see what happened.....
  • I got a job
  • I became color guard Co-Captain
  • I started babysitting
So to explain my job I got..
I was finally old enough to get a job, and I was exstatic! I applied to be a student tutor and a grade school. I was given 4th graders to tutor. It was pretty interesting at first.. I was soo nervous the first day! Lol. But it got alot better when I found out the lady I was working with was super nice, and talkative just like me! ;) I could not be more happier with the job I had. The kids grew to actually like me and we got pretty close as a group.
We had our bumpy days when we had some problems with behavior but that is normal... And I believe happens to everyone. BUT We made it through and we had a great time! I almost cried on the last day because I grew to love my job sooo much!

Color Guard Co-Captain.
I thought being co-captain would be the best thing in the world! Ya it was not really that awesome and I didnt get to do much. But we wont get into that now will we... ROTFLOL.

Now to the baby sitting job!
I got a job baby sitting a 16 month old little girl. I grew to love her really fast! She was adorable, and I was wrapped around her finger from about day 2 lol. I loved having the responsibility of having a kid to look after. (beings I want 6 kids it gave me a good look at how I can handle all those kids!)

Second semester sophmore year I was having alot of problems with being sick too much, and not wanting to goto school so I went to only going half days to the high school, and the other half of the day I did online school. It was better then sitting in school all day! But I was hard to stay focused on school work all day. SO I ended up not getting credit for any of the online classes I did because I couldnt get them finished on time. So online school does not work for me...
In the end I ended up going back to school full time for my junior year.

Freshmen Year

Freshmen year was pretty nerve wracking! Especially the verry first day. I remember walking through the doors of the high school thinking "wow they look so big and grown up! And I feel like a child still." I also remember thinking how long it would take to get through to my senior year.
I decided to join color guard this year too. I loved it, and it gave me something fun to do on weekdays after school... And an excuse to not do homework ;) Which didnt always work haha. Color guard performed with the marching band in parades, foot ball games, and we went to Spokane WA for the Lilac Parade. This trip was amazing! I had soo much fun. We stayed in the gym of one of the high schools in Spokane. Ya NOT the best ideal sleeping arrangement for 80 boys/girls. It stunk SO BAD in that gym haha. And the gym lights wouldnt turn off on top of it. SO we all slept with our blankets over our faces.. (in the middle of may in spoknae) Yep it stunk!
Befor I knew it the end of freshmen year was at the finger tips and I would soon be an "upperclassmen" Or so I thought. Turned out nobody thought sophmores were upperclassmen... That is except freshmen. SO I was still near the end of the food chain. BUT atleast I wasnt the very bottom.
All in all freshmen year went OKAY. I did make some mistakes (as we all do) but Hey I am alive still and I made it through!
My next post will be of my Sophmore year in high school.
P.S
Sorry it is so short I am just becomming a senior next month and just now starting this blog LOL. Anyways I hope you all enjoy reading!
